640 Ellice Avenue - "We Are The World"
"We Are The World" (Rachel Schappert and 30 kids, 2007).
The mural pays homage to the West End and portrays children from multiple cultural backgrounds engaged in creative and positive activities. It is very colorful and inviting. The leaves sport inspirational words like "explore," "learn," "discover," and "imagine".
Apparently, the target audience for the mural was young people. But it ended up appealing to adults alike. I totally understand why!
