The mural was created to deter graffiti and beautify the area. It is located on the wall of the Good News Fellowship Church.
With a length of 125 feet (38 metres) and a height of 15 feet (1.5 metres), it's quite an impressive piece. It took 300 hours to design and involved many people.
The initial idea was to depict the area's history. But the church shares a building with Dakota Community Church, which is teen-oriented. Hence the themes...
