187 Garry Street - 'Scene from the film "A Dog's Life (1918)' (iPhone photo)
Artwork by Jennifer Johnson (Utopian Art Design) and Mandy van Leeuwen (2001).
Did you know that Charlie Chaplin actually visited Winnipeg? When he was here, he stayed at the Windsor Hotel. During that time, he wrote a letter to his brother, in which he stated that he was quitting Vaudeville to pursue a career in Hollywood.
What you see in the mural is still from his black-and-white film "A Dog's Life." It was designed for night viewing.
